The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted at Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news, post a recap for the week before, showcase books and things we have received, etc.
It’s that time again! I have my poll open for next month’s featured book and I’m hoping you all will take the time to vote. Once again I have some amazing books for featured book, so I can’t wait to see what ya’ll pick! Here are the books that you can vote for:

As some of you may have noticed, I haven’t been grabbing a lot of new books these past few weeks. I’ve been really trying to push through the ones I have first before I even start collecting or requesting new reads. However, all is not lost as I did pick up a stack of books this week. Of course, they are the books I need for the two grad courses I start this week. But they are still books, right? LOL
My son’s birthday is on Tuesday and since I have to work, we went ahead and made yesterday his pre-birthday fun day. First thing we did was head over to the movies so we could check out Finding Dory! I thought it was pretty cute, though I felt it didn’t quite have the same effect the original had. But hey, it was still a great movie and we both enjoyed it. So that’s all that matters, right?
After that we had to make an unfortunate detour to my college. I had received a phone call about how I needed to add a second course in order to keep my financial aid. It only took an hour and we got it all figured out with plenty of time to take a trek up to Akron to visit their zoo!
We had a ton of fun at the zoo. I know there are a lot of people who anti-zoos, but I enjoy the experience. It reminds me of my trips to the Nashville Zoo when I was little. I have some of my favorite childhood memories there. One of which was even riding a beautiful elephant. It was hot and I took a lot of photos, but as with all zoos, sometimes it’s hard to get a decent pic because of the barriers. Here’s my favorite pic from yesterday:
Anyways, I hope you all are having a great weekend and that you have a great week!

Here’s my (general) upcoming TBR list in no particular order:
It’s a light week for checking out library books. But I’m okay with that. I’ve been making some headway on my checkouts and I’m trying to keep away from that “light at the end of the tunnel” syndrome. You know what I’m talking about. That moment when you realize your book list is dwindling down and you fear the thought of running out… Read More
No new ARCs this week. I’m steadily making my way through my Netgalley and library books, so I’m definitely trying to take it slow on the ARC front. Besides, I’ll have a lot on my plate soon enough and the last thing I want is to be overstretched with a ton of ARCs.
