This Week’s Question:

Do you always put a book cover in your posts when you are mentioning books or just text?

If I am doing a random post or talking during my Sunday Post, I don’t necessarily add the book cover of the book I’m mentioning. However, if I’m doing a review or doing a post that’s about a list of books, what I plan on reading next, what I got from the library, etc… I typically use the cover. I’m a very visual person when it comes to picking books, so I prefer to be able to see the covers. In fact, I’m more likely to pick a book based on the cover than the description. Which I know goes completely against the idea of not judging a book by it’s cover. But let’s face it, if the cover isn’t inviting, I am not going to be interested.

What about you guys? Hope you have a greet week!

  1. Oh now I don’t feel quite as bad! This is me to a T! I know you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover but some of them just pull you in and refuse to let go! Also, I think that you can tell the quality of a book (sometimes) by the cover. If care isn’t put into the cover, why blindly assume it will be put into the story?
