Sunday Post #45 – Heat Waves and Pokemon

Sunday Post Meme

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted at Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news, post a recap for the week before, showcase books and things we have received, etc.

For the first time in almost a year, I skipped doing this last weekend. In light of everything that has been going on in the world and how busy I’ve been the past few weeks, I decided to spend the weekend studying and playing Pokemon Go. I know, I know. A lot of people think the game is stupid, but I like the fact it gets me out of the house and much of my studying was done at parks all around my county.

In order to catch up, this week will feature all of the posts and reviews I have done over the past few weeks. I’ll admit, I’ve been backing off a bit. But now that I’m getting the hang of how much I need to study and what not for school. I feel like I have a better handle on how I can manage my time, so we’ll see how things go, especially once the fall semester begins.

I hope you all are having a great weekend and that you have a great week!

All book covers are linked to my personal review of the book or it’s Goodreads or Amazon page.

  1. Sometimes a week of no new books is a blessing! Enjoy the break and getting caught up on the TBR pile! Or maybe making a knick in it? 😉

    Here’s my STS

    Have a GREAT day!

    Old Follower 🙂

  2. Wow, you have a lot of books to keep you busy for awhile! The Last of the Firedrakes was pretty interesting. Enjoy!

  3. I think Pokemon Go is great, with everything going on in the world people need to have a little fun to leaven all the bad news! Hope you had a good weekend. I’m thinking of trying Pajonas’ books at some point.

  4. What a great haul! I think Pokemon Go is a fun game. My only concern with it is the safety issue. Several incidents have happened where I am. I hope all is going well with school. Have a great week!
